Business Colleges in Chicago

Students looking to study international business in the Windy City have a number of programs to choose from. Both undergraduate and graduate students can focus their studies on international business at some of Chicago, Illinois', top universities. Degrees and Schools

Three universities in Chicago offer international business degrees at either the undergraduate or graduate level. Students at Loyola University Chicago can earn a bachelor's degree in international business through the school's School of Business Administration.

Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management offers a similar bachelor's program in international business. Graduate students can earn their Master of Business Administration degree with a focus in international business from DePaul University's Charles H. Kellstadt Graduate School of Business.
Program Requirements

Students earning a bachelor's degree in international business from Loyola Chicago have to complete general education requirements and general business requirements followed by 18 credits in international business courses.

International business majors at Northwestern complete four courses specific to international business, three of which must be core courses. These international-business-specific courses are supplemented by general business courses.

MBA students at DePaul complete a minimum of 48 credits, including six courses in their international business specialization.

Chicago schools that offer international business offer a range of courses in the field to build students' knowledge about global business. Loyola international business students take courses like Introduction to Cultural Anthropology, World Culture, International Marketing and International Management.

Northwestern's international business program includes courses like International Healthcare Systems, Cross-Cultural Negotiation, International Business Strategy and Global Marketing.

Chicago-area international business students can enrich their education in a number of ways. Loyola Chicago encourages its international business students to study abroad for a semester, allowing them to see international business practices firsthand.
